QuoteWise
A customer describes the job. You get an itemised draft to review, line by line. Nothing reaches them until you say so.
What it does
The customer describes the work in their own words and can add photos. QuoteWise reads that, asks back about what it could not tell from the description, and builds a draft with the items and your own prices.
What it never does
It never sends a price to your customer on its own, and it never invents a rate. If a line has no price in your business profile, the draft says so instead of guessing. A quote with a made-up number is worse than a quote with a gap.
What the customer sees
A link where they can read what was understood and answer the open questions. They see the questions and their own answers — never your internal figures.
Screenshot pending
The page the customer opens, on a phone.
Not published yet: it comes from a real run and is being checked so that no internal figure shows. An empty space is more honest than a drawing of one.
How you switch it on
QuoteWise is optional and starts switched off. You turn it on from your dashboard, under Add-ons. Turning it on is recorded with the date and who did it, and you can switch it off from the same place.
It is off until you turn it on, and off means nothing is sent.
Why it is worth switching on
Most quotes are lost to the wait, not to the price: the first tradie to reply usually gets the job. QuoteWise gives you a draft to check instead of a blank page at nine at night.
